Sometimes because of pride or ego or a mistaken idea, one person may not confide in another or tell them the whole truth. Have you ever been in a situation in which you didn’t want the other person to know something about you? You had something you wanted to keep secret? How did you act? Did the other person realize you were hiding something? How did your behavior change the way they acted toward you?

honestly i dont like to keep secrets i always end up spilling the beans so even if it was over somthing HUGE i would still proboly tell everyone in the world.i no my parents tried to not to tell me what i got for christmas and they would not tell me i dont think that they acted any different then what they usually do but i said if you dont tell me then i wont eat.

I did not eat for one meal then i ate behind my parents backs so that they thought i did not eat for 2 days but they caught me eating a piece of pizza in the middle of the night when my dad thought he heard somthing so he went to check it out and it was me at this time it was like december 23 or somthing close to that so i had to wait for christmas but i did eat and eat and eat on christmas when it was dinner time i ended up getting an ipod touch with a case and 25 $ to spend on itunes and on apps it was one of the best gifts i have ever gotten.

costume

the best costume i ever had was when i was a ninja 2 years ago i had ninja stars in my legs, arms, and my head it looked like it really hurt but it was just make up but when i went trick or treating that night i got extra candy for the coolest. but i couldn't eat most of it because of my braces :(

the worst costume i dressed up as was a pumpkin when i was 8 it was so stupid cause when i went to school everyone made fun of me cause i wasn't scary at all but i got extra candy from the teachers cause i was soooo cute as they said but i thought it was dumb but the next year i was way scary and i made fun of everyone cause they were not scary :-)

teens top ten

I have never read any of the top ten books but the hunger games looks good but I dont know if I will read any of them but if I have a chance to I will with out a doubt.

if I had the chance to vote i would vote for a mike lupica book cause it always talks about a person doing sports and i love those books that are sport related. I am a teenager and if i like that kind of stuff i can image in my mind that a ton of other sporty teenagers would love that kind of stuff.

Edgar Allan Poe

It seems like reading Edgar Allan Poe stories around Halloween is a rite of passage for students in English classes. He wrote poems such as "The Raven" and "Annabel Lee" and stories like "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Black Cat", "The Fall of the House of Usher", "The Cask of Amontillado", "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Pit and the Pendulum", etc.If you have read Poe stories before, which ones have you read and what do you remember of them? Did you like them? How scary/creepy were they? Share your memories of you or teachers reading the works of Edgar Allan Poe.If you have not read Poe or don't remember, describe to me what you expect from a classic horror writer? What kinds of stories do you think we'll be reading? Have you ever read scary stories?

I have never read an edgar allen poe book but I think it would be pretty good because I have read a ton of horor books one second it is boaring and another second you cant put the book down I love horor books and mystery books. I love to read goose bumbs the last one I read was about a kid who lived on another planet and he goes to a camp that is very deadly and and when he is done with the camp he gets to meet up with his parents and his parents tell him he is going to the deadliest place in the universe . . . EARTH but it is a really good book I hope Edgar Allan Poe's books are that good

Have you ever studied a skunk's eyes? Write about some item you find beauty in that many others might not.

I think that hunting is awesome the way the smoke comes out of the barrel I think it is just graceful the way the birds come up as you flush them out of were they are bedded down into the sage or the way a deer runs across a road or as your hunting a deer jumps out of the tree and your bobbeling the primer as it goes into the muzzleoder and the way you put the sight s on the mule deer and gently squeeze the trigger . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 . . . . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . 1 BOOM the deer runs off into the woods and you spend half a hour looking for it and bringing it to the camp then you let every one see it and I think it is just so beautiful!

Write about a family vacation. It can be the best, the worst, the funniest... make sure you describe what happened and make your readers feel like they were there with you.

In November of 2007 I had the best vacation ever me and my family went to London for a week it was so much fun we had to fly in a plane cause it is across the ocean we departed in los angeles so we had to drive there then we flew for about 4 hours to toronto then we flew for ELEVEN!! hours to heathrow wich is right next to london the last day we were there I thought it was home and I was sad to leave but we got alot of chocolate.

In May of 2009 our family went on a cruise to canada it was supposed to go to mexico but sice the swine flu was going around so it was really cheap on the boat they had mini golf and three pools it was alot of fun and the bed were really nice but that is just 2 of my familys many vacations in my life.

Write to me about your experiences with reading stories as a child. Did your parents read to you? What kinds of things did you read? Nursery rhymes? Adventure stories? Fairy tales? Bedtime stories? Did you have a favorite story when you were little? If you didn't read as a child, do you think that has affected you in any way? Do you have a favorite story now? Do you think it is important for children to be read to?

when I was a kid the first book I read was I love you I remember it like it was yesterday it was awesome when I learned the alphabet but the book was like "the key loves the lock and i love you " and " the duck loves the pond and I love you" I was very full of myself when I learned.

when I was a kid my dad read me adventure stories and later I relized that he was making them up but they were awesome and they would help me sleep at night but if he was gone I pulled an all nighter and did not go to sleep at all cause he did not read me a story then he did it again cause I was 5 years old and then I grew out of it.

Tell me about the best book you've ever read. Give me a little of the plot, but spend most of your time telling my why you liked it and what specifically made it good. (If you don't have a favorite book, then do this for the book you are currently reading.)

The best book I've ever read is the Boy at War I loved this book because it was from the
characters point of view and I am a boy and boys like war books like... one time I was reading a book for history and it was about the Holocaust it was awesome it was about Hitler and all the wrong things he did people tried to assassinate him many times but he survived.

Boys love that kind of thing the book I read was awesome the character was to young to join the army so he forged his parents name on the enlistment form then he went to boot camp and did alot of training when he was done he was called to serve and went to hawaii and faught the japanese .

If you had one superpower, what would it be and why? (Hint: describe exactly what your power would be, why you would want that one, what you would use your power for, etc. Would you be good or evil? Would you use it just for fun or for a good cause?)

If I had a super power it would be to have the power to pull money out of my ear and never run out! I would use it for good to myself I would buy a bugatti as my first car and go to Germany and drive on the autobon that would be soooo awsome I would end world hunger and make everyone rich and pay off the worlds debt so we would have world peace.

If i had to pick a second power it would be to impeach Barrak Obama then we would win the war against the iraqis and not be in debt through our noses and make Mitt Romney the president he is really good with money and our country would be out of debt by 2011 and we would be bathing in money and having fun every day and our country would be shot straight up in the stalk market!!!
